1.Cek lampu Modem, apabila merah berarti kabel ke Modem terputus.
2.Cek IP di Modem, bisa beberapa cara:
a. pertama bisa login ke modemnya, untuk login bisa di lihat di tutorial sebelumnya KLIK. Kemudian pilih menu Wan Information
Disitu bisa di melihat status modem dan berapa ip yang didapat. Jika ip tersebut tidak tampil atau tidak mendapatkan ip kemungkinan gangguan dari sana dan kabel atau kabel ada yang putus. (catatan kabel fiber sangat sensitif tidak boleh kelipat sehingga jika dirapihkan jangan sampai menekuk kabelnya). Tapi alahkan baiknya jika tidak mendapatkan ip coba di restart dahulu modemnya sebelum menyimpulkan kabel putus atau gangguan dari penyedia jasa internet. Cara merestart bisa menggunakan tombol power, tetapi jika tidak tahu di mana tombol powernya matikan saja sumber listrik modemnya.
b. Cara mengecek ip bisa juga menggunakan CMD dari windows.
Lakukan beberapa command di bawah:
Ping Default Gateway ke ip 10.54.0.1 (ip tersebut adalah tergantung penyedia jasa internet, dikarenakan ip 10.54.0.1 adalah ip penyedia jasa internet dari myrepublic). Untuk perintah yang diketik di CMD Windows.
ping 10.54.0.1
Jika seperti itu berarti jaringan internet normal, akan tetapi jika tulisan Request timed out ataupun ping putus-putus, maka coba di restart modemnya dengan menekan tombol power ataupun mematikan sumber listrik modemnya.
Nah jika anda tidak tahu default ip bawaan dari modem anda, akan bisa juga melakukan ping ke google dengan menggunakan perintah berikut ini :
ping google.co.id
Jika seperti itu berarti jaringan internet normal, akan tetapi jika tulisan Request timed out ataupun ping putus-putus, maka coba di restart modemnya dengan menekan tombol power ataupun mematikan sumber listrik modemnya.
